It's easy to write the New Age Movement off as a bunch of quacks. But when you actually look at many New Age teachings one thing becomes very clear. Much of what New Agers and Theosophists believe is coming soon fits the bill for what the Bible tells us will occur during the Tribulation. The only problem is that the New Age is looking for a "new christ"and a one world religion.
It won't take long for many Christians to understand this is a luciferian doctrine. Madame Helena Petrova Blavatsky, the founder of the Theosophy and the modern New Age Movement made that very clear in her own words.
It's important to remember that even people involved in the New Age Movement and all of its components deserve our love. MOst are well meaning and have no idea of what they're dabbling in... which is a neo gnostic worldview.
There's no reason to hate them. We do need to try to wake them up.

I do apologize for having lost my original reference material. Here is a cheat sheet to help you get started with understanding Theosophy and its role in the formation of a One World Religion.
Theosophy is a doctrine of religious philosophy and metaphysics. Theosophy holds that all religions are attempts by the "Spiritual Hierarchy" to help humanity in evolving to greater perfection, and that each religion therefore has a portion of the truth. The founding members, Helena Petrovna Blavatsky (1831–91), Henry Steel Olcott (1832–1907), and William Quan Judge (1851–96), established the Theosophical Society in 1875.

"Lucifer is divine and terrestrial light, the “Holy Ghost” and “Satan,” at one and the same time, visible Space being truly filled with the differentiated Breath invisibly; and the Astral Light, the manifested effects of the two who are one, guided and attracted by ourselves, is the Karma of humanity, both a personal and impersonal entity: personal, because it is the mystic name given by St. Martin to the Host of divine Creators, guides and rulers of this planet; impersonal, as the Cause and effect of universal Life and Death." -Helena Blavatsky, The Secret Doctrine
The devil is now called Darkness by the Church, whereas, in the Bible he is called "Son of God" (see Job), the bright star of the early morning, Lucifer (see Isaiah). There is a whole philosophy of dogmatic craft in the reason why the first Archangel, who sprang from the depths of Chaos, was called Lux ( Lucifer) , the "Luminous Son of the Morning," or manvantaric Dawn. He was transformed by the Church into Lucifer or Satan, because he is higher and older than Jehova, and had to be sacrificed to the new dogma. -Source
Alice Ann Bailey (June 16, 1880 – December 15, 1949), known as Alice A. Bailey or AAB, was an influential writer and teacher in the fields of spiritual, occult, astrological, Theosophical, Christian and other religious themes. Alice Bailey was born as Alice LaTrobe Bateman, in Manchester, England at 7:32 AM GMT. She moved to the United States in 1907, where she spent most of her life as a writer and teacher.
Her works, written between 1919 and 1949, describe a wide-ranging system of esoteric thought covering such topics as how spirituality relates to the solar system, meditation, healing, spiritual psychology, the destiny of nations, and prescriptions for society in general. She described the majority of her work as having been telepathically dictated to her by a "Master of the Wisdom," initially referred to only as "the Tibetan," or by the initials "D.K.," later identified as "Djwhal Khul." Her followers refer to her writings as The Alice A. Bailey material, or sometimes, as the AAB material.
Her writings were influenced by the works of Madame Blavatsky. Though Bailey's writings differ from the orthodox Theosophy of Madame Blavatsky, they also have much in common with it. She wrote about religious themes, including Christianity, though her writings are fundamentally different from many aspects of Christianity and of other orthodox religions. Her vision of a unified society includes a global "spirit of religion" different from traditional religious forms and including the concept of the Age of Aquarius.Bailey associated the spiritual hierarchy and its branches with the system of Sirius, the planet Venus, and the mythical land of Shambhala (which she spelled "Shamballa"), the residence of Sanat Kumara, "Lord of the World".
The Great Invocation is a mantra given in 1937 to Bailey by Djwhal Khul. The mantra begins with "From the point of Light within the Mind of God, let light stream forth into the minds of men." with the rest of the passage reinforcing this idea of men acting in accordance with the plan of God. It is well known by some followers of the New Age movement, where it is used as part of meditation, particularly in groups. -Source
The Master Jesus, within the metaphysical system of Theosophy, refers to the theosophical concept of Jesus as opposed to the Jesus Christ of the Christian religion.
The Master Jesus, in the writings of Theosophy is one of the "Masters of the Ancient Wisdom"and in the Ascended Master Teachings is one of the Ascended Masters (also collectively called the Great White Brotherhood). The "Master Jesus" is regarded by Theosophists, was regarded by Alice A. Bailey, and was previously regarded by students of the "Ascended Master Teachings" as the Master of the Sixth Ray.
According to Elizabeth Clare Prophet, the Prophet of the Church Universal and Triumphant, the largest Ascended Master Teachings religion, the Master Jesus incarnated twice as the Emperor of Atlantis, once in 33,050 BC and again in 15,000 BC. He did this in order to aid the white magicians in the war of the white magicians and the black magicians that was going on in Atlantis at that time.
According to Alice A. Bailey, the Master Jesus was previously incarnated as Joshua, the Hebrew military leader in the 13th century BC, and Joshua the High Priest in the sixth century BC.
According to the Ascended Master Teachings, Jesus was also incarnated as Joseph of the Coat of Many Colors in the 17th century BC/16th century BC (approximately between 1550 BC and 1650 BC), as well as King David (who lived c. 1037 BC until around 970 BC), and Elisha in the 9th century BC. -Source
Ascended Masters, in the Ascended Master Teachings is derived from the Theosophical concept of Masters of the Ancient Wisdom or "Mahatmas". They are believed to be spiritually enlightened beings who in past incarnations were ordinary humans, but who have undergone a process of spiritual transformation.
The founder of the Theosophical Society, H. P. Blavatsky, in the late 19th century brought attention to the idea of secret initiatory knowledge, by claiming her ideas were based on traditions transmitted to her by occult means from a group of highly evolved humans which she called the Mahatmas or Masters. These Mahatmas, she claimed, were physical beings living in the Himalayas, usually understood as Tibet.
The Masters are collectively called the "Great White Brotherhood" in Theosophical system. The use of the term "white" refers to their advanced spirituality (i.e., that they have a white colored aura) and has nothing to do with race. Blavatsky described many of the Masters as ethnically Tibetan or Indian (Hindu), not European. She did, however, describe them as being from all cultures and races, such as the "Greek gentleman" known as Hilarion.
Belief in the Brotherhood and the Masters is an essential part of the syncretistic teachings of various organizations that have taken the Theosophical philosophical concepts and added their own elements. Examples of those believed to be Ascended Masters by these organizations are Sanat Kumara, Gautama Buddha, Maitreya, Jesus, Confucius, Lord Lanto (Confucius' historical mentor), Mary the Mother of Jesus, Lady Master Nada, Enoch, Kwan Yin, Saint Germain, and Kuthumi, to name but a few. It is believed that all of these put aside any differences they might have had in their Earthly careers, and unite instead to advance the spiritual well-being of humanity. -Source
Benjamin Creme is an artist, author, self proclaimed esotericist, and owner of Share International magazine (his regular newsletter and website).
He asserts that the second coming prophesied by many religions will come in the form of "Maitreya". Maitreya is the name Buddhists use for the future Buddha, but Creme claims that Maitreya is the teacher that all religions point towards and hope for . Other names for him, according to Creme, are the Christ, the Imam Mahdi, Krishna, and the Messiah. Creme says Maitreya is the "Avatar for the Aquarian Age" and is currently living in London.
Creme has made a number of predictions and announcement for the imminent appearance of Maitreya based on his claims of receiving telepathic messages. These have failed to come true, leading to him being considered a figure of amusement in the press.
