For all of the Republican fanfare that went into creating the illusion that the election of Scott Brown would somehow offset the heavy hand of the Obama/Democrat super majority, most of us that understand that the realm of politics is nothing more than a rigged wrestling match had to sit back and laugh at the media as they sold the drama.
It has now come out that just as Obama is related to Dick Cheney and George Bush, so to is he related to Mr Brown. Obama and Brown are 10th cousins.
"President Obama has found another long-lost cousin: Scott Brown, the Republican state senator from Massachusetts who won the Senate seat long held by the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy.
The president and the senator-elect are 10th cousins, according to the New England Historic Genealogical Society.
Brown's victory Jan. 19 over Democratic candidate Martha Coakley cost the Democrats their filibuster-proof majority in the Senate and may have jeopardized passage of Obama's top legislative priority -- a healthcare overhaul."
The lesson learned here should be obvious. Any politician that finds his way to fame and adoration from one party will likewise find hatred and vitriol from the opposing party. American's take it all to heart and consistantly blame one party or the other for all of the nations ills.
But for the ruling class the Rs and the Ds are are only skin deep, for they all share the same blood.
My only question is, who does it serve to reveal the genetic ties between these very public figures? If it didn't play into someone's agenda, this stuff wouldn't make it into the mainstream news. So what's the angle?
